Now Out: Radical Note 124 on 羽 and 5 New-Monics

In a change of plan, essay 1475 on 逝 (to die; go) will come out in a week, not today. Instead, I posted Radical Note 124 on 羽, the "feather" radical. This resource is free!

Also, some exciting news! I was asked to write a guest blog for a series about Japanese literature in translation. The very capable series editor David Jacobson wanted me to write about kanji in particular, and I was happy and honored to oblige. You can find Part I and Part II of my blog post on the site of the Global Literature in Libraries Initiative.

Finally, Ulrike has produced the following new-monics (which are once again free!):

部 (384: section)
洋 (404: ocean)
落 (408: to fall)
信 (513: believe)
窟 (1994: cave)
