Essay on the "Box on Side" Radical (匚) Is Now Up!

I've posted Radical Note 22 on the "box on side" radical, 匚, which we see in kanji such as 医 (225: medicine), 区 (465: ward), and 匹 (1736: counter for (small) animals).

Like all Radical Notes on Joy o' Kanji, this essay is free! (I suppose we could call it a free radical!)

The essay differentiates 匚 from several radicals that look quite similar. What's more, as the essay shows, this radical always appears in sets of look-alike kanji, such as 医 and 矢 (981: arrow). In this way, 匚 plays a part in a pattern unlike any I've ever seen in the kanji world!
